Alex : Good Morning Shaker High School.  Today is March 11, 2020.  I'm Alex .  Alongside me today is Mary Kate.

Alex : Here are your morning announcements: 

Alex : German Club will meet today after school in J208 to prepare for the world languages block party

Mary Kate: The next cosmetology club meeting will be today from 2:30-3:00 in room A-209.  Hope to see you there!

Alex : Attention Girls Take Charge! We will be holding our second meeting at the junior high today at 2:30 in the Shaker JUNIOR High library. Come enjoy a snack, build connections and leadership skills, and empower the younger girls! New members always welcome!

Mary Kate: Do you have a talent? Show us and we will make it shine. Shaker's Got Talent will be held on April 3rd in the auditorium. There is a limited entry, sign up sheets are located in both hall offices. 

Alex : SATs are this Saturday, March 14 at Shaker HS.  If you are registered to take the exam youíll need to arrive by 7:30am.  Be sure to bring your admission ticket, ID, two #2 pencils and a calculator.  Students without an admission ticket and valid ID will not be permitted to take the exam.  See your School Counselor before Friday with any questions.

Mary Kate: Join the Shaker Politics Club in a special visit from the Albany County Executive, Dan McCoy, tomorrow, March 12th at 2:30 in M105! All are welcome to come and learn more about the county government and its role in the community! Don't miss out this opportunity to meet a very important official in our area!

Alex : SOS will meet today at 2:30 in room B211. We are in need of volunteers for upcoming activities. All students interested in volunteering in our school community should attend.

Mary Kate: There will be a 15 minute Spanish Club meeting today. We will plan for next week's block party.

Alex : Do you love to point out the mistakes made in movies? Do you enjoy finding plot holes and critiquing them? Then our new club Film Fixers is perfect for you! Contact the student advisor, Alma Stanfield, for more information. Our interest meeting will be after school tomorrow, March 12th in the media center. Hope to see you there!
